Napatech Announces 20Gb Pattern Matching Adapter

Andover, Massachusetts - 28 April 2008.

Napatech today announces a complete Pattern Matching Adapter based on Tilera´s TILE64 Multicore processor. The new Pattern Matching Adapter can be used as a stand-alone product or in conjunction with the Napatech series of 1Gb and 10Gb FPGA-based high-performance network adapters. This unique Pattern Matching solution includes the following new features:

  • Pattern search at full 20 Gigabit per second line speed
  • Pattern search across fragmented packets
  • Sustained capacity up to 1 million flows
  • Handles one hundred thousand new flows per second
  • 20Gb capacity up to 2 million characters for all patterns
  • Flexible configuration of pattern length and number of patterns
