Local retransmit allows traffic to be received by the Napatech Network Adapter and retransmitted back to the network at full line rate, without occupying the host CPU, host memory, or PCI bandwidth at all.

Adapter-based Retransmit
The local retransmit is a powerful feature that enables:
- Traffic copying: Traffic can be fully copied to one or more ports, either on the adapter only (as a tap), or at the same time being captured to the host.
- Filtered copying: Using the filter functionality, selected parts of traffic received on one port can be retransmitted on another port.
