The Napatech Network Adapters can be equipped with various hot-pluggable XFP
transceivers supporting 10GBASE-SR, 10GBASE-LR and 10GBASE-ER connections.
The optical XFP transceivers offer multiple data rates, and distances to
support various applications and performances.
The 10GBASE-SR transceiver is specified for an optical reach of 300 m. The 10GBASE-LR transceiver is specified for an optical reach of 10 km or
more. The 10GBASE-ER transceiver is specified for an optical reach of up to 40 km.
