The NT20E Capture Adapter is a high-performance 2 x 10 Gbps solution for very advanced data capture, processing and delivery of network data traffic to a host system at virtually no CPU load. The NT20E capture function is running at full 10Gbit line rate at all frame sizes ensuring no packet loss.
Advanced HW time-stamping, data merging, filtering, tagging and dynamic slicing are some of the very advanced features that will enable a significant frame processing off-load for any host system. The Napatech multi-CPU buffering feature enables data processing on 32 CPU cores. The NT20E Capture Adapters support adapter-to-adapter time synchronization via a daisy chain configuration as well as connection to the Napatech Time Sync Unit (NTTSU) for GPS synchronization. Line-speed local retransmit is available at zero host CPU load. The NT20E Capture Adapter is configured with 2 optical Ethernet ports supporting hot-pluggable XFP transceivers.
