In-Line Analysis for 40 GbE Networks
Two NT40E2-1 network adapters are required; one for upstream reception/transmission and one for downstream reception/transmission. This supports up to 2 x 25 Gbps of bidirectional throughput (total 50 G), limited only by the PCIe Gen2 bus capacity and the customer's application software.
Intelligent Flow Identification and Distribution
Intelligent Flow Identification is provided to allow real-time classification of Ethernet frame data and flow identification. With intelligent flow distribution all frames are distributed to up to 32 CPU cores allowing massive parallel processing. Incoming packets are transferred to DMA memory for application processing and optional retransmission.
