4 x 1 Gbps solution, which provides full line rate processing, analysis and transmission of network traffic with zero packet loss for any packet size.
Layer 2 to 4 traffic analysis, filtering, OS bypass and balanced multi-CPU traffic processing are some of the very advanced features, which ensure that all relevant traffic is quickly transferred to the appropriate application without impacting CPU performance. The NT4E In-line Adapters are thus ideal for 4 Gbps applications that require hardware acceleration with maximum throughput and minimal CPU load. A frame can be retransmitted with the same Ethernet CRC and IFG as received, enabling the in-line device to be 100% transparent. The NT4E In-line Adapters support a total of 4 Ethernet ports in 2 different configurations as either 4 electrical or 4 optical gigabit interfaces.
