PacketXpress allows for reliable, high-speed intake, processing, and storage with no loss for up to 100Gbps with days’ or even weeks’ worth of storage capacity. Through rate-controlled playout, PacketXpress extends the useful life of analysis and monitoring infrastructure by avoiding oversubscription for either onboard or external applications while providing pre- and post-event data extraction in near real time.
Axellio’s FabricXpress platform includes Napatech to assist their solution in delivering superior performance, economics, capacity, scalability, space and power usage, and flexibility. Axellio has integrated Napatech’s FPGA-based SmartNIC software and hardware for high-performance capture and playback capable of 100 Gbps with nanosecond-precision replay.
Dave Gustavsson, chief technology officer, Axellio, said: “Napatech’s feature-rich SmartNIC software and hardware easily integrated into our solution to meet the demanding performance requirements we have for throughput, latency, scalability and cost. We now have a powerful multi- purpose solution capable of simultaneous packet capture and playback, even during the heaviest of traffic loads.”
Jarrod J.S. Siket, chief marketing officer Napatech, said: “Axellio’s FabricXpress packs a big punch in an incredibly small package, offering advanced networking, storage and compute processing in a low-latency, high-bandwidth, 2U form factor. We are grateful to partner with Axellio and look forward to continuing to work with them as they provide network designers with an exciting edge computing platform that is more powerful, smaller and more cost-effective than competitive offerings.”
