Each 90-minute session will focus on a specific area of Suricata’s roadmap: deployment; analyst, rules and protocols; developer: extending and accelerating; overflow and community discussion. Napatech’s vice president of field application engineering, Peter Sanders, will speak at the Nov. 17 meeting about “Stateful Flow Shunting in Suricata Utilizing SmartNIC Hardware Offload.”
Napatech has developed a hardware acceleration solution that alleviates the load on the server resources and accelerates the Suricata app so it can focus on its intended purpose: keeping networks secure. By shunting irrelevant traffic flows and forwarding only selected data to the app, Napatech SmartNICs ensure that Suricata performs to its highest standard.
Attending this event and having the opportunity to provide direct input into the roadmap gives Napatech the opportunity to help shape the roadmap and provide insight that will ultimately help joint customers and the industry.
